As we enter the season where inclement weather may impact our school schedule, we want to remind everyone of the official procedures for announcing any weather-related delays or closings.
Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. Decisions regarding school status are made carefully based on current and forecasted weather and road conditions.
Where to Find School Status Updates
Notifications for any weather-related delays or closings for Northumberland County Public Schools will be disseminated through multiple channels to ensure the widest possible reach:
1. NCPS Alert System: A direct message will be sent through our automated alert system (please ensure your contact information is up-to-date with the school).
2. NCPS Website: An announcement will be prominently posted on the official school website.
3. Social Media: Updates will be shared on the official Northumberland County Public Schools social media pages.
