JROTC Drill

The Northumberland JROTC Drill Team delivered a spectacular performance at the Manor High School Drill Competition on 13 December 2025. Their precision and dedication earned them an outstanding haul, including three first-place victories in Unarmed Squad, Unarmed Platoon, and Color Guard, as well as second place in Knock Outs and third place in Armed Squad. This exceptional showing is a direct reflection of their adherence to the standards outlined in the JROTC Program's Drill and Ceremony manual, TC 3-21.5.

This competition is the ultimate crucible for the JROTC values, demonstrating how the core beliefs of personal responsibility, integrity, teamwork, and discipline learned in the classroom translate into flawless execution on the drill floor. A massive shout-out is deserved for SFC(Ret) Derrick Lemon; his profound knowledge and countless hours dedicated to training and mentoring our cadets were absolutely instrumental in achieving this level of success.
