Rewards

·        We will create groups to compete with each other in areas to include attendance, academics, positive behaviors, and intramural games throughout the year.

·        Tickets will be given by teachers for positive academic behaviors and may be cashed in on assigned days for prizes, passes, and points. There will be a monthly drawing container for larger prizes.

·        The sixth grade school store will generate money to help with field trip costs and reward activities.

Consequences of Inappropriate Behavior (cont.)

·        Lunch detention will be given for disruptive behavior and chewing gum.

Grading Policy (May vary by teacher)

·        Tests and projects normally count as double grades.

·        Daily class assignments, quizzes, and homework averages count once.

·        Students earn a quiz grade of 100 for attempting all homework assignments.

Field Trip Policy

·        Proper behavior at school is a prerequisite for attending field trips.

·        Any student receiving OSS (out of school suspension) or 2 days of ISS (in-school suspension) will be excluded from the trip following the suspension(s).
